SYNND Critical RA Update Instructions

The SYNND RA (Remote Automator) is the device that runs on your computer to make communications with the Synnd Central Server to process promotional tasks and earn credits for your account.

This is a REQUIRED upgrade. Your Synnd system will not work without it.

This upgrade only takes a few minutes to set up so let's begin...

NOTE: If you use outsource workers to run SYNND then please pass the URL to these instructions to the one responsible for hosting the RA.

INSTALLATION FOR PCs (Mac Version is below)

STEP 1: Exit and Uninstall the current RA on your PC

It is required to exit and uninstall the previous version of the RA first.
  • Right Click the RA icon >>> Click EXIT
  • Go to START >>> CONTROL PANEL >>> PROGRAMS AND FEATURES (Windows 7) or ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS >>>
  • Uninstall RemoteAutomator

STEP 2: Download the installation program

All Windows versions: CLICK HERE FOR INSTALL
 
After downloading, execute the installer and follow the steps through the installation wizard. The RA will start automatically once the installation is completed. You will then be prompted to enter your Synnd username and password to connect your RA to the Synnd Central Server.

NOTE: After install it can take up to 5 minutes for the red X to disappear from the RA icon
 
STEP 3: Auto Updater / Auto Starter

This vital step will make sure that whenever you boot up your PC that the RemoteAutomator is automatically started and that if any new version of the RA is available it will be automatically installed from this point forward.

To activate the auto update/start feature please follow these simple steps:
  •  Go to START >>> ALL PROGRAMS >>> Click the SYNND folder >>> Drag RemoteAutomator and drop it in the 'Startup' folder >>> Then Delete Autostart RemoteAutomator from the Startup folder

STEP 4: Confirm Your Installation

It is important for you to let us know that you have upgraded your RA so we can begin monitoring your system

INSTALLATION FOR MAC

STEP 1: Uninstall the Remote Automator
From the Mac OSX Desktop

Click
Go>Applications

Locate and open the SYNND folder

Double Click the Uninstall Icon

You will be asked “Are you sure you want to uninstall SYNND Remote Automator?”
Click Yes

Wait for progess bar to finish

Click Finished.



STEP 2: Install the New Remote Automator

Download the new RA for Mac: Click Here >>>

From the Mac OSX Desktop

Click
Go>Home>Downloads

Double click the synnd-remoteautomater-macosx-installer-3.0.1.0.tar to extract the file.

SYNND RemoteAutomator Installer.app file will be extracted to your downloads folder.

Double click this file SYNND RemoteAutomator Installer.app to start the installation

A window will pop up that says about to install
SYNND RemoteAutomator 3.0.1.0

Click Next

I agree>Click Next

Use the default installation location of: /Application/SYNND

Click Install

It you get a directory already exists warning just click overwrite.

Wait for the progess bar to finish

After intallation completes click on the RA Icon in the top right corner then choose reconnect and enter in your login infomation
